Sousaphone draws inspiration from the gleaming gramophones of the early twentieth century and reinterprets them to illuminate spaces. Its brass or copper screen creates unique and soft reflections. Where social gatherings were once enlivened by the gramophone's rough sound, Acoocooro now seeks to recreate its shine, silhouette, and presence.
